About this event
New works by David Gerhard are coming soon to Centre Stage Gallery. David Gerhard is a maker, artist, designer, and educator who is passionate about contemporary printmaking, new media art, graphic and web design, art theory and global art history. Gerhard’s work has been exhibited, collected, and contracted for clients regionally, nationally, and internationally.
In this upcoming exhibition, printmaking, drawings, and augmented reality (AR) combine and compress parenthood, ecological loss, and memory. The exhibition contrasts modern technology’s sensory overwhelm with quiet moments of play, gratitude, and spiritual reflection. Visitors are invited to use their smartphone to trigger AR layers atop the physical works to uncover hidden moments.
