Y’ALL’RE

About this event

Y’ALL’RE is a Shelby, NC-based punk/riot grrrl 4-piece fronted by Galaxy Lineberger and backed by her father, Jason Lineberger, on guitar; Kim Ware on drums and backing vocals; and Kim's husband, Mark, on bass. This family affair has been making arty noise, inspiring audiences to move, laugh, and think, since their inception in 2022. From their very first show, in front of a packed house for New Year’s Eve at Barley’s Taproom in Spindale, NC, Y’ALL’RE has continued to gain a supportive, enthusiastic following with frequent performances around Charlotte, NC at venues such as The Milestone, Petra's, and Snug Harbor.

Bigger names are taking notice as well; Y’ALL’RE has scored sought-after opening slots for such well-known acts as The Dollyrots and The Queers, and last year Queen City Nerve (Charlotte alt weekly) named the “sharp, smart, and funny foursome” as their critic's pick for best emo/pop punk band (see https://qcnerve.com/music-critics-picks-2025/) a few months after featuring them on their cover. Their lively, clever vibe extends beyond the stage, and the band has been featured on such podcasts as Mike Watt’s “Watt From Pedro” show; “Gabba Gabba Huh?,” which spotlights indie bands from the Carolinas; and Charlotte-based ImVibes, produced from Tommy’s Pub. This October brings the band's second EP release; entitled Vegan Leather Real Tears, the 5-song collection was recorded live, apart from vocal and minimal auxiliary instrumentation overdubs, at Duck-Kee Studio in Mebane, NC.
